Two weeks ago at work we got our new state cars. Two brand new Toyota Prius'. Today started out like any other day, a beautiful drive to Mt. Pleasant with two of my co workers. Both of them had never driven the Prius before (if you have never driven one, yes it requires training to turn it on and get it moving...). So I am sitting in the back seat while they are learning all about the car...and we are driving down the freeway at 77mph.
Mid drive, the passenger says something like...'if you press and hold the power button...' AHHHHHHH! Before I can say a word, she is holding down the power button. And yes, when you press and hold the power button, the car turns off!!!! The driver is panicking 'what do I do?!?'. Uh...pull over to the emergency lane, I yell a little worried for my life!!! We pull over, stop the car, and start it again.
Needless to say, I drove back to the office from Mt. Pleasant.
Also on the way, we encountered something fun on the road....let's just say it took us about 30 minutes longer than usual to get to Mt. Pleasant.....
Ahhhh...what a day!
